  • 15-20% of children present with learning disabilities
  • 20% of children meet criteria for diagnosis of ADD / ADHD
  • an estimated 5% of children present with known central nervous system disorders secondary to either congenital of perinatal causes
  • 20% of all children may experience some type of psychiatric disorder (conduct disorder, oppositional-defiant disorder, depression, anxiety, etc.)
  • 20-50% of children with one disorder experience a second co-morbid disorder (30-50% Oppositional-Defiant or Conduct Disorders, 25% anxiety disorders, 20-25% learning disabilities, etc.)
